| Applications are accepted during the fall semester of each school year. Recipients will be interviewed and selected during the spring semester of the same academic year on the basis of interest in osteopathic concepts and the development of greater skills in their application; interest in teaching; academic achievement; and conduct which provides a role model for first-year students. In order to participate in the Fellowship program, each student takes five years, instead of four, to complete all of their educational requirements, including hospital and private practice clinical rotations, for the DO degree. Fellows receive a full tuition/fees waiver the third and fourth years and an annual stipend for their fifth year, payable monthly. There is no tuition charged the fifth year, only a graduation fee. Mandatory fees must be paid, however, during the third and fourth years. Students on military scholarships are not eligible for the program. To apply, please call the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department at (909) 469-5282. |
